there is not enough gain to swith the caliper so why change something you know works. honestly if you just did a lighter caliper like a willood or even the stock evo brembo you would get the same effect with less trouble. not to mention i would feal like there would be some crazy gyroscopic disruption going on with the relocation.....
has to be some crazy science to this since every super car has them mounted on the fron rather than the rear.....
lighter weight calipers are a very expensive upgrade. If Im having a knuckle busted I assume that swapping the caliper side, or just swapping knuckles from left to right side is not as great of an expense.
there is no crazy science involved. in the racing world all mass is to be as low and toward the center as possible. even parts that fall into that unsprung weight category.
We can discuss inertia transfer and all types of shit to we're blue in the face, but when it comes down to it "I want something different on my car." And that desire is what pushes people to try new things. ---- I think the better question is when did drift cars stop being racecars?
I always drift for fun and race for sport, when I can get do both at the same time with my buddies is when I have the best expierence. No politics, no judges. ---- Anyway. I looked at the knuckles, thought what the hell. If it can be done... great. If it can't... no big deal.
