O_Oh yes look at the beef thickness on that traction bracket_t Is that piece of angle a welding point?

& Could you educate me on your rod ends? 'teflon spherical bearing' yes, but; is that a seal? & lubrication point? I havent been on here much lately

you could weld the triangle to the OEM shock mount or just let it touch. either way the point is to have a backing surface to prevent the shock mount tab from bending. Teflon liner means maintenance free. The sperical bearing is pressed into the forged rod end housing with bearing mount compound & its race is retained by set screws as well. The yellow parts are dust covers. The bell shaped bearing side spacers are press fit to the bearing ID and give surface area for the car mounting brackets as well as room for the bearing to move.
