hey guys

ok so im interested in getting the NEW MAX PRO knuckle for S-Chassis for my s13 which has
- comp coilovers
- new max tie rods
- FLCA tension combo ( the bent one )

three questions:

-will the knuckle simply bolt on or do i need to mod anything?
-and my car is a HICAS originally just to confirm the front knuckle are same on HiCAS and non Hicas right? since the steering rack is different, just wanted to confirm that.
- do i need offset spacer?

Thanks

It will bolt on
you already have complimnetary parts however you may consider our rack bushing.

We never did any install on the Hicas rack, its rare, cant comment.

iner tie rod offset is only for people running too much caster, otherwise its not recommended due to the stress it places on the rack. Its not compatible with the eccentric rack bushing. Its one or the other, cant use them both.

so ur saying they all use offset spacer, what do you recommend the caster for the abpve setup without the offset spacer and with the steering rack bushing

here an interesting question do i still need to use the 5mm adjustment spacer ( above ) in order not to grind the knuckle where it touches the LCA.

or thats only for the straight LCA as i have the bent version?

Sure, owners of the straight FLCA can use it to clear. However since it compromises outer joint contact surface, you don't want to use it except for fine tuning of bump steer. You have no bump steer if you use an OEM or OEM length outer tie rod.
