wowzers its been so long.

small update. powder coated the wheels lol.
went to a couple events.

as per dave's advice, i jumped into HTM and never looked back. i probably wasnt ready yet, but i said what the hell, not gonna know til i try it.

i havent had that much fun drifting since the first time i went.

went off track kinda hard a couple times. dinged up the wheels and bent my exhaust tip.

anyway, here is my friend's video of htm this past sunday 1-16-11.

its been a while, but a few things have changed.
here's some pics/video captures from htm.

got some chargespeed 50 mil overs. i think theyre nice because they cover the entire qp.
also got some 30mil spacers and adjusted rear camber to -1*

picked up some used 1st gen pbm knuckles from a friend of a friend. i tried to box in the lca like the kit. it works, but not very pretty.
first time driving with modded knuckles was very nice. i spun out like 5times the whole day.

Got a ref ticket, so my car has been sitting while i waited for court date to contest.
Went to court, lost. so i have to re-register my car in ca and it must past smog. turbo kit is in the process of coming off. piecing together the stock stuff i got rid of.

since my car was just sitting, started fixing up the girl's car.
5sp 04 IS300 with first ever PBM coils.

threw my wheels on it, martin did some magic with the fenders.
welded up a 3inch stainless axle-back called it done.

she wanted purple wheels. i said no, bought her purple lugs. compromise.

at the autofashion vip fest 3weeks ago

Oh mannn, i think old wheels were so much cooler!! big big brake kit makes up for it!

How does the SXE10 handle compared to s14?

just watching the vid to improve drift widen the front more and run more camber it will allow the car to naturally over steer and will be much easier for you to hold the down hill. this is just from watching the little bit of the vid. car looks good though..
