putting your ic infront of the rad doesnt provide less air to your rad? i wouldnt think that it would make your car over heat more?

no cuz its not blocking the whole thing and either way having it block the whole opening in the front bumper does the same thing.

I am in the process of doing this to my Zenki S14, but it looks as if there will be interference with the headlights, how did Matty solve this? Pictures if possible?

Nope.

Actually, the typical japanese style front mount set up is less efficient for the radiator- because with the I/C so far away from the rad, it creates a low pressure zone in front of the rad. Especially so in drifting where we're moving at an angle everywhere.

With the i/c up against the rad. air forced thru the I/c runs right thru the rad.

+ the other benefits already mentioned

You can tilt the rad back a little like scooter did orrr

Trim/bend/alter the sheet metal behind the headlights to allow the pipes to pass by orrrr

do both orrrr

put the rad in the trunk like the Weld S14

Another one done today. This job on elgenes car has a really nice inlet pipe and recirculating BOV setup. Also has some headlight brackets, custom oil cooler mount. This job was $550

I'm telling you make a kit! One that you have to drop the radiator back with longer mounts so it doesn't mess with pop-up headlights.

hmmm I dont have a good answer for the AC yet. The Hard line on the top of the condenser will have to be addressed. Obviously the easy way would be just take it out.

The radiator top mounts would be fairly umcomplicated to lengthen but the bottom mounts - those bushings in the cups in the lower radiator support - that will take some extra effort to produce something in kit form.
