You should post that @ hachiroku.net also, here's the thread; http://hachiroku.net/forums/showthread.php?t=24449

I think they will be pleased regardless. I would love to see some more pictures of the rear welding either process or diff shots of the trunk area. Sorta hard to distinguish previous work on the already modified car.

Awesome work though. I feel fortunate enough to have a shop near me who would probably not mind accomplishing the modifications.

Will the traction brackets w/ mount be a separate part?

ok. I posted here http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=85402&page=4

We cut a hole, pop in the housing, weld around the perimeter of the housing, and then bolt in the pillowball retainer from the underside after the housing cools. It actually does not touch the roll cage base / rear strut tower brace at all in the car we did, but you could easily connect them together.

We are going to include a hole saw guide with the coilovers. Its a metal bushing that slips in the OEM shock mount hole. This will perfectly center and stabilize the (home depot) hole saw thats used to make a perfect hole for welding in the housing.

you still need this

1-5/8" hole eh? ok...

Really feeling this, have you gotten any deposits yet? How many can you take on the first batch/price-point of $1000 ?

also, this is a big surprise after you posted a separate rear spring/shock kit in the '8 COILOVER Applications' thread or w/e haha.

After reading everything on c4ag etc. I see you're waiting for the tool that will allow one to remove the upper bearing during welding.

You should snap a picture of the castor/camber adjustable upper plates..

Out of curiosity are you planning to produce an equal length 4-link kit?

Tool is being shipped by air, right now

What do you mean "equal length" aren't the top ones way shorter on the OEM mounting point?
