NEW FRS / BRZ Solid Diff & Sub Frame Riser!


MAX SDR and SFR's for FRS/BRZ are not violent, nothing like solid engine mounts which would shake the whole car. The feel of the car's suspension over rough roads is unchanged, its largest change to the driver is the application of the clutch is no longer soaked up in those bushings its applied more directly to the wheels. So when you do a clutch kick instead of doing nothing, you can actually initiate a drift using the stock motor.
It makes a handling improvement on lowered cars through roll center correction by returning the arm angle towards their original position and it makes the axles last longer since the CV joint angle is made less severe.
The diff is a lexus unit with oil filled bushings which pretty much eliminate all noise, so when you install all the bushings its much louder. It could be hard to carry out a bluetooth conversation while going 90 mph (you probably should not be doing that anyhow), but its actually a cool sound comparable to a supercharger since its an RPM/speed dependent sound. Like a muffler it lets you hear your car where you can shift without looking at the tach. The sound is inside the car because its transmitted through the unibody, nothing on the outside of the car because theres ambient noise & the air is not a very good conduit for sound versus the solid stricture.

The axle angle is so bad when this car is lowered that it puts a lot of strain on the axle joints. This bushing set eases the angle of the axles on lowered cars by raising the diff 20mm. Bolt on CNC aluminum gold anodized front bushings and Weld on laser cut steel subframe/rear diff mounts with new hardware. The FRS and BRZ use a lexus diff and also the luxury oil filled rubber mounts that are great for canceling a lot of noise, vibration, and harshness from the luxury car but they are doing you a disservice getting the power to the ground in your sports car.

~ The silver M14 washers are used under the OEM bolt head, 2 in the rear one in the front, when you dont use the gold 5mm topside spacer.
~ Dont use the topside spacer for maximum roll center correction. In this case you need to grind excess metal as seen on page one of this thread.
~ If you cant grind your SF and just want solid bushings not Roll Center correction, or your race rules forbid modding the SF, use the topside spacer, and just use one m14 washer under the head of each OEM bolt.
~ Pair these with the diff risers to make your axle joints very happy on your lowered car.

We are very excited to debut this innovative part that solves several classic problems at once. For other cars we have some pretty straight forward Sub Frame Risers that basically just push the subframe against the chassis to improve roll center by having a single sided design thats flush to the bushing cup on the topside. In the FC there is a very unique situation where the subframe is mounted pivotally upon its front bushings and enthusiasts use an adjustable length sub frame camber arm to adjust the angle of the subframe mounting points for the trailing arms . In order to improve the roll center, and eliminate the sloppy rubber bushings while maintaining the need to pivot for camber adjustment, we came up with a two piece solid bushing with a ball on the topside and socket on the bottom side! Our Solid Diff Riser is a must with these.

This product is a compliment to the SFR. The FC subframe is really just a front half subframe that uses the diff connection for the rest of its support, therefore if you use the solid Sub Frame Riser, you also need the Solid Diff riser Bushing. However if you dont have the SFR and you have stock subframe bushings you could use the Solid Diff Bushing independently just to replace the OEM rubber diff bushings so its sold separately.
