We're prepping for the new look that will debut at All Star Bash 2011 with the new Vertex Edge wide body kit from Vertex USA. Color will be Kustom Shop - Hod Rod Flatz - Gun Smoke Metallic.
We have added a crash bar and support brackets since everything is fiberglass now. Also deleted OEM latch by using the aero catch and simplified the bars that block the radiator and HMIC.

wire tuck - this is what every lowered nissan should have, but most people get half way there by putting the wires above the lip only to rub through the wires where they wrap over the corner of the frame. To solve this we just cut the corner of the metal where the bundle goes from the underside to the topside, and thats the last time you have to worry about it.

masked the car up

The wing was extended to match the new quarter panels with surf board foam, wrapped in glass, finished in bondo & primer

underside of the hood is painted & looking beautiful

half of the car painted

here you can really see the detail of this flat paint. Its not really flat like primer but instead has a satin finish and the metallic comes out in the sun upon closer inspection but is overall very understated which should be a good balance to the crazy aero
final result should be like a fighter jet look combining big vents and flat paint

This is the remainder of the aero that is getting painted today. You can see we reinforced the mounting points and cleaned up the seams but we are not body working and priming the entire surface, its just not a show car.

This paint is quick to spray, its a single stage, goes on in two coats, leaves the shop pretty clean compared to normal 2 stage, and its way better on your health than spraying clear.
