its a bummer he had a crank angle sensor problem. i guess the transition from bank to flat jared the car so hard that the sensor in its new location on the flywheel would move and make contact with the flywheel totaly destroying the pick up on it. best of luck buddy and im sure you will get them next time.
Ryan said he qualified 6th on the first run and then was so happy with the score that he said F it and tried to do a backwards entry into the infield.
I suppose that could have jarred something but he said everyone was commenting about how the car's suspension was undisturbed by the whoops and the transition.
And then the car only stopped running once they were in the top 32 comp and could not do anything in the five minutes they allow.
matty went into the top 8 and knocked out by tuerck
We think that the excessive heat in the aluminum trans caused it to warp just a touch and the sensor is like .00001 away from the teeth so any little movement = game. Sensor is redesigned were using a gm sensor on a bmi front trigger wheel where the sensor can be touching to 1/8" away and still read fine. Suck it Seattle.
Here's a vid I made from nj, peep it:##SANITISED## src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/26488432?color=ffffff" width="700" height="468" frameborder="0">##SANITISED##>
Ryan, I love how you start in 2nd, rev up and launch using the hydrobrake. the runs were sick and the car sounds monstrous from inside The second run, second infield turn does show gnarly steering angle.
Nate - Very artistic. Your B-roll is always legit, great enterainment to compliment Mattys drift game.
