Dan... can you use a standard Nissan oil filter with this setup?

I have this setup in my PS13 Silvia and couldn't use the standard filter. I did however get my local machine shop to turn me up a custom converter so I am actually using the standard fitment filter, its actually an HKS one.

The relocation kit calls for "For use with larger filters like FRAM PH7317 or equivalent diameter filter", tells you in the product page btw.

its better to run the larger oil filter. the more oil in the system the better. we are using the relocation kit on Ryan Kado's formula d z and a stupid large 1 quart amsoil filter on the thing. so we have an extra quart of oil in the system.

yeah i saw the Fram # on the product page, but Fram is shitty filter... imo and many others who come into advance auto.

&wow advanced autp sells the k&n which you can cross ref the number of the fram to that. which filters twice the microns as the fram.

thanks yeah i didnt think about cross referencing the fram filter through the database. i only work 2 weekends a month and forget about it every time i work.
