Can current owners of these coilovers verify if the rear's come into contact with the rear trailing arm?
I know it has been an issue with the STANCE, Megans, and JIC coilovers - they're actually slightly too large in diameter and rest against the rear trailing arm.
I have them on, set with zero preload/droop and slammed all the way down and I have no clearance issues. I can't think of how the trailing arm would come in contact with them anyways, I think there is a fair bit of room. I am thinking of setting mine with a little droop so i can go even lower.
He means that the locking collars that hold the spring to adjust the ride height have been removed for maximum lowness! which is what I'm going to do too. So if thats that case with martin's car and he has no clearance issues than I don't think there are any clearance issues you will find.
Hold on wait a mintue. So you're telling me the dampers used in these coilovers dont blow when you completely droop the spring? If that's the case then I really need to make the switch.
