need help with this. for some reason mine wont go in, the flange wont lay flat to the turbo, so like i cant install it.
as u can see in the picture bellow, the top part of the elbow wont go all the way, it wont kiss the turbo. but the bottom can/does. i tried putting the bolts on, but i didnt wana force it.

so is there any trick to install this?

looks to me like you have it setting at a poor angle did you try sticking a bolt threw the top and seing if that will pull it into place? from the look of the second photo you setting against the stearing so maybe just cady whampus lol.. the flex section should have enough flex to bend it into place. also remember these are hand made..

i thought it was that you had a GT28R from the s15 already has the divider so it hits it. The t28 from the s14 doesnt have the divider and fits flush like mine.

A customer of ours Wilfredo P. Tuzon sent some pix of the COBRA downpipe that he ordered with the flange for the gt2871R so he could cut it himself for the best possible fit. I thought we should share this technique with our other customers.

Here is what he had to say about that:

Ok, so it turns out the gt2871r(sr20det Drop-in version) has a divider, but not quite all the way. I cut a bit of the cobra's divider. I left a tab so it would divided all around.

This answered all my questions since i also have a GT2871R and was confused on if i should get the Flex Cobra with the divider or not ...i was searching Zilvia and didn't see anyone bring this up about the GT2871R and the divider, maybe you should post these pics on there I'm sure this will help some people with the same questions i had. would you happen to have any more detailed pics on this? since i have the turbo already on the car i wanna know how much i need to cut and where.

also any new news on the awesome SR20 Manifold you guys are working on?
