Now I understand what you're saying red rabbit, there is definitly some tracking but thats just the nature of the suspension geometry being changed by a significant drop. my jic's did the same thing, if you caught one of the reflectors in the middle of the road it'd jerk the wheel that direction if you weren't gripping the steering wheel.
yeah it doesnt it was just hella cold last night below freezing so i think my hands didnt want to work or something but yeah they are good a bit tight but good.
I know with Tein coilovers the locking collar is torqued to 100 ft lbs in the front and 50 ft lbs in the rear. I did not know this initially and the collars would come loose every few months. After finally torquing everything to spec there were no issues at all.
I have worked with the PBM coilovers numerous times and have found that using the spanner wrenches with some 1/2" deep sockets with 6 inch extensions make for great final tightening tools.
Maybe some longer spanner wrenches or spanner wrenches that have squares machined out of them for 3/8" ratchets or break bars may be a good idea. Otherwise you can always tap the spanner wrench with a hammer to lock down the adjustment.
