Hiya guys, I actually have a curious question that hopefully can be answered without coming down to the shop. I've emailed Nate only briefly on this subject but I just want to know what anyone has to say and to see if I can get a for sure solid answer of yes or no - if it's possible. So I'm basically going to have an entire psm front end and I want to know if I can temporarily run S13 SE 15s with 195/55 tires and psm 30mm spacers on the knuckle setup. Also note worthy, I've already had my fenders rolled at clearanced by Martin.
Total setup will include on a Zenki S14
psm control arm/tension rod combo tein outer tie rods psm inner tie rods psm competition coilovers psm knuckles obviously no sway bar
and I think that's sorta all that's important up front for that. But most importantly, I just want to know if the SE 15s will fit over the knuckles with 30mm spacers enough so that I can drive to work (45-1hr drive if it makes a difference knowing that) and to school. I don't care if I can use the lock or not, I just need it to work until I get wheels. Also, there's a reason why I'm not getting wheels first haha or else this wouldn't be a problem. The problem I've been having is I can't make it out to the shop just to have you guys check it out because of schedule issues. Only on weekends =/
We have no idea. All of our installations have been with aftermarket wheels. You can take an educated guess by getting under the car and looking. We move the LCA/tie rod mounting point down 45mm (tie rod is closer to LCA than stock) and the wheel you said will move out 30mm so hold a measuring tape against the current parts to see where it will be after the new parts are installed.
ok so im just going over some suspension idea's I have and im wondering about some specs. I currently own the 2010? version of your knuckles the ones with two tierod holes and 25mm of RC correction. I am wondering about the difference between these and the pro forged. (couldnt find the thread for the forged knuckles so I posted this here). do you have any spec sheets on both knuckles or no?
